NIOMI SCHUBEL

Niomi Schubel, the owner of Schugarni Business Services, is a Registered BAS Agent and a passionate bookkeeper. Having been working in this industry since 2006, she has gained a wealth of experience servicing clients across a broad range of industries but specialises in Tradies, Horse Trainers and Financial Providers. She has worked hard to acheive certifcations as an Advanced Intuit Quickbooks Online Certified Advisor, Xero and Xero Payroll Certified Consultant, Myob Bookeeping Partner and Reckon One Cloud Advisor.
When asked why she is so passionate about her job, her response was "I am a bit quirky I guess because I just love it when the numbers come together and I get so much personal satisfaction out of helping a business achieve its goals and thrive. I am exceptionally proud of the working relationships I have built with my clients over the years. There is never a dull moment in bookkeeping. Believe it or not, there are always new things to learn and master. The bookkeeping industry is changing so much at the moment and every day is an opportunity to learn something new!"

GARY SCHUBEL

Gary Schubel, the co-owner of Schugarni Business Services, is an accomplished Business Manager. Having a background running large-scale manufacturing facilities, he brings to his role as Business Improvement Specialist a range of unique skills and business insights.  With numerous qualifications in Continuous Improvement, and a very strong passion in this area, Gary is well equipped to help you identify and implement a range of strategies to achieve greater efficiencies in your business. Gary - a real "People-Person' - is an experienced Manager of all facets of business including staff management and development, using financial reports to make informed and meaningful business decisions, budgeting and forecasting, cost reductions and strategies.
Gary thrives on assisting small businesses and seeing them grow and develop. He takes great pride in his abilities and uses a personal approach to assisting his clients. Always seeking a new challenge, Gary is loving his role with new clients at Schugarni Business Services.

OUR HISTORY

Schugarni Business Services started out as a way to exercise an interest in numbers and a desire to have work flexibility around family life.

Following completion of a Manual and Myob Bookkeeping Course in 2006, the business began taking clients and at that time, was working under the direction of a Registered Tax Agent.

In 2009, just prior to the introduction of the new BAS Agent Legislation, Niomi Schubel completed her Certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping). In 2010, she registered as a BAS Agent with the Tax Practitioners' Board of Australia amongst the first round ever of registered BAS Agents..

Since that time, membership of the Instititute of Certified Bookkeepers was gained and we have continued to work and learn as much as possible to maintain the best possible skills and knowledge in order to be a valuable asset to the businesses of our clients.
